Fire Pump Inspection, Testing & Maintenance in New Jersey & Eastern Pennsylvania

Northwatch Fire Protection provides NFPA 25 inspection, testing and maintenance of fire pumps for commercial and industrial facilities across New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania, covering electric, diesel and vertical turbine installations.
What We Inspect and Test
- Weekly and monthly no-flow (churn) tests, run and observed per NFPA 25
- Annual flow testing at rated capacity to verify pump performance
- Controllers, transfer switches and alarm signaling
- Diesel engine systems — batteries, fuel, cooling and exhaust
- Suction and discharge piping, gauges, relief valves and packing
Why Fire Pump Testing Matters
The fire pump drives your entire water-based fire protection system. If it fails to start or cannot reach rated pressure, every sprinkler and standpipe downstream is compromised. NFPA 25 requires regular no-flow tests and an annual flow test because pump problems rarely show themselves until the system is under demand. Our tests catch degraded performance early, and our reports document compliance for your AHJ and insurance carrier.
